Location: Bloomington, CA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Responsibilities: The Dispatcher's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Identify, review, and approve routes for drivers • Provide proper communication and direction to drivers as to their daily job and workload, including the start time • Monitor metrics (KPIs) to maximize productivity • Review and adjust the routing of pick-ups/deliveries for minimum miles and expenses • Assign or preplan order pickup or delivery in the system • Ensure that Drivers are properly trained on ELD devices and technology to maximize utilization and efficiency • Resolution of any PU/delivery problems while the driver is with the customer • Monitor pick-up appointments and coordinate with drivers • Ensure on-time delivery appointments as scheduled • Create manual orders in the system, as needed • Maintain proper equipment control, including tractor assignment, trailer assignment, and equipment updating to our computer program • Ensure the success of the operation Qualifications: • Prior experience in the role of Dispatcher • Flexibility to Dispatch for all drivers' Operations as needed • Ability to actively and effectively act as a dispatch team member in a professional manner and in the spirit of TEAM success • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with a wide range of people • Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred About Company: We’re Sugar Creek Transportation, based in Southern California, and we’ve been serving the transportation industry since 2014.
