Bartenders:
Indian Spring Country Club is seeking qualified service staff to join our professional hospitality team. We are seeking responsible, motivated and enthusiastic individuals. High-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to our members. The bartender will greet members, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.

 

All applicants must be personable, engaging, and professional in appearance. Experience in upscale dining is preferred. Ideal candidates will be very comfortable and organized on the floor, able to interact cordially with members, guests and fellow team members.

Essential Skills/Attributes:

• Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the front & back of the house. 
• Great Communication Skills: Understands and can communicate with staff, supervisors & guests alike in a professional & warm manner.
• Drive/Passion: Have an ambition to learn, sense of urgency, hyper-sensitive to the importance of providing exceptional customer service. Seeking candidates that have a true passion for serving customers and exceeding their expectations. 
• Organizational Skills: Ability to take detailed orders & input/operate point of sale system accurately. Ability to prioritize duties and be proficient in accomplishing multiple tasks simultaneously. 

Job Duties:

• Providing descriptions of menu items and beverages.
• Delivering food to members and guests in a timely manner.
• Informing guests of additional options available to them through up-selling.
• Ensuring members and guests are of age before serving alcohol.
• Preparing checks and accepting payments.
• Maintaining cleanliness of event spaces and service areas.
• Assist in setting up event space (Heavy lifting of 0-50lbs is to be expected)
• Providing information about the club when needed
• Helping with other tasks as needed.
• Since we value teamwork, additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
