SCAN has more than 43 years of experience in behavioral health and is committed to the highest quality standards in treatment services. New counselors receive training on all evidence-based practices and cutting-edge competencies in culturally-responsive, integrated mental health and substance use disorder treatment. As part of the clinical treatment team, counselors will receive ongoing supervision, training and consultation in the delivery of services within a strength-based supportive environment. If LPC-A, SCAN provides free supervision and offers all program counselors the opportunity to expand and grow within the agency's multiple comprehensive programs, If LCDC-I, SCAN is an HHSC approved Clinical Training Institute registered site to provide Supervised Work Experience hours to Counselor Interns and supports professional development.
