Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Project Manager with a specialization in MEP projects to join our owner representative/CMa team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project delivery, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects from conception to completion.
• Oversee the installation and coordination of all MEP systems, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications and codes.
• Manage civil work components of projects as they relate to MEP infrastructure.
• Coordinate and oversee commissioning activities for MEP systems.
• Conduct thorough design and specification reviews for MEP components.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams including MEP specialists, estimators, and schedulers.
• Ensure project adherence to scope, budget, and schedule, with a focus on MEP deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and team members regarding MEP project status.
• Manage risks and resolve issues related to MEP systems in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a Bachelor of Architecture.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in project management within the architectural/structural field.
• Demonstrated experience with oversight of installation of enclosure systems, civil work, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in conducting design/spec reviews.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Project Management Information Systems required (Procore, eBuilder, Kahua, etc)

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Professional Engineer (PE)

Additional Requirements:

• Successful completion of an HSPD-12 background check is required for this position.
• Full-time On-Site position in Washington, DC
