This role is ideal for a project manager who wants to take ownership of all phases of commercial construction—from planning and budgeting to on-site execution and delivery. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and leadership to ensure projects meet the highest standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Position Overview

As a Construction Project Manager, you’ll lead the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within scope, and on budget. This position plays a critical role in coordinating resources, managing risk, and maintaining strong communication across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from pre-construction planning to project closeout.

• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, field teams, and subcontractors.

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and reporting.

• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with regulations.

• Monitor site conditions, quality control, and adherence to project specifications.

• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement processes.

• Conduct project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.

• Assist with estimating, bidding, and business development efforts as needed.

• Mentor junior project staff and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects.

• Experience with a range of building types such as industrial, mixed-use, hospitality, or institutional.

• Proficiency with construction software including Procore, MS Project, or similar tools.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage budgets.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to job sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.

• Experience with CM-at-Risk or Design-Build delivery methods.

• LEED accreditation or familiarity with sustainable construction practices.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $95,000 to $114,000, based on experience and qualifications
