What You'll Do as a Construction Foreman:

  • Perform hands-on construction work on commercial, retail, and industrial projects, including new builds and renovations.
  • Work with various construction types, including wood, steel, and masonry structures.
  • Complete framing, trim carpentry, door and window installation, siding, and roofing with precision and quality.
  • Ensure all work meets high safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate regularly with the field manager.
  • Lead by example in delegating tasks and training new team members in a foreman capacity.
  • Work full-time, approximately 50-55 hours per week, starting at 6 AM, with all projects located locally—no overnight travel.

 

Our Ideal Construction Foreman:

  • Experienced: At least 3 years of construction experience; commercial experience preferred, with strong skills in wood & steel framing, trim carpentry, window and door installation, and exterior siding or roofing. Basic blueprint reading is a plus; prior leadership experience is valued but not required.
  • Dependable: Follows through on commitments, delivers consistent results, and takes pride in precision and craftsmanship on every project.
  • Team-oriented: Values relationships, honesty, and collaboration with coworkers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Attentive: Approaches work humbly, listens carefully to team and client needs, and provides thoughtful, customer-centered solutions.
  • Capable: Able to lift to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders or scaffolding; able to pass a company-paid DOT medical exam.
  • Must provide basic tools, including a nail bag and hammer.
