Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level **Job Summary** The Compensation Consultant 2 provides strategic compensation consulting and project management for competitive pay programs and pay for performance philosophies. **SALARY** The pay range for this position is $47.05 (entry-level qualifications) - $72.93 (highly experienced). The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience. **Essential Functions of the Role** + Works strategically across functional areas to identify, plan, develop and deliver compensation services and tools with high quality outcomes. + Manages compensation projects and initiatives. This may include the Compensation Committee, annual merit planning, incentive programs, and job architecture. + Helps with projects, maintains project timelines, creates presentations, communication materials, policies, etc. + Partners with Compensation management and HR Business Services to develop compensation strategies and practices. + Socializes new or changed pay programs with HR Business Services and business managers to include presentations for areas helped. + Respond to internal requests for job reviews, pricing new positions, and equity adjustments. Ensure internal and external equity. + Conducts complex internal and external third-party market testing and reviews. + Research compensation trends and best practices in the external market. Partner with HR and business leadership to enhance pay programs and market position. + Conducts periodic audits to ensure accuracy of data. + Responds to data requests. + Mentors compensation staff, and provides performance and development feedback. **Key Success Factors** + Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) highly desirable. + Knowledge of compensation policies, practices and procedures. + Knowledge of health care industry is preferred. + Relationship management and conflict resolutions skills. + Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. + Excellent communication and presentation skills. + Excellent ability to work with and influence all levels of management. + Excellent data skills. + Ability to work under pressure and regularly reprioritize tasks. **Belonging Statement** We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve. **QUALIFICATIONS** + EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification + EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience As a health care system committed to improving the health of those we serve, we are asking our employees to model the same behaviours that we promote to our patients.
