Job Title: Commercial Roofing Estimator
Location: Greater Philadelphia Area
Compensation: $70,000 – $150,000+ DOE (Base Salary + Bonus)

We are hiring for a reputable commercial roofing company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Estimator to join their growing team. This is a tremendous opportunity for an estimator who wants to work with a well-established contractor known for safety, quality craftsmanship, and long-term relationships across Pennsylvania and surrounding states.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial roofing projects (TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, coatings, and metal systems).

• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine project requirements.

• Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and superintendents to ensure seamless project execution.

• Obtain and analyze quotes from vendors and subcontractors for materials and labor.

• Develop detailed take-offs and pricing breakdowns for both negotiated and competitive bids.

• Participate in pre-bid meetings and client consultations as required.

• Identify cost-saving alternatives and value-engineering opportunities to enhance proposal competitiveness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of estimating experience within commercial roofing.

• Strong understanding of low-slope systems, materials, and construction methods.

• Proficiency with estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, Edge, or similar).

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and technical documents.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
