CAPE COD, USA: Live-in Nanny/PA (G6 years) ASAP start - **confident driver & USA passport/Green card are essential**

Do you hold a US passport/Green card and would like to join a loving family and contribute to a harmonious household and enjoy a truly rewarding experience in Massachusetts, USA?  We have an unusual opportunity for a Live-in Nanny/PA in Cape Codto support G6 years. This unique role offers a rewarding experience in a beautiful, seaside community with the nanny's own apartment in nearby Harwich Port.  

Our clients, a warm and welcoming family in Chatham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated full-time Live-in Nanny for their youngest child, G6 years.  There are four children in the household, with the 3 older siblings (B11, B14 & G16 years) who are increasingly self-sufficient, so this role is predominantly for the youngest child with additional ad-hoc nanny support for the older children. 

Position Details:

• Live-in Nanny (separate apartment).
• Charge: main charge G6 years (+ 3 older siblings).
• Work periods: ASAP start – 12th June 2026; and then 1st September 2026 – 11th June 2027 (summers off!).
• Summer 2026 off (partial pay provided) and Winter Break: 2 - 3 weeks at the end of December.
• All USA holidays paid.
• Hours: circa 11:00 - 19:00 (40-ish hours per week) 
• Possibility of extension beyond June 2027, depending on family circumstances
  

The Role:

The family is located on one the eastern most points in the town of Chatham.  With it's classic "New England charm", Chatham is often described as a picture-perfect seaside town, with stunning beaches and smart boutiques and high-end restaurants, it is quieter during the winter period and lively and bustling in the summer months.  The ideal candidate will thrive in these contrasting elements and also in the joyful energy of a bustling family home and genuinely enjoy working with children in busy households. This family is looking for a nanny who is kind, engaging, and confident in setting clear, consistent boundaries. Their youngest child loves imaginative play and arts & crafts, so creativity and a fun-loving spirit are a must. The nanny will also support the older siblings with transportation, homework, and supervision, becoming a meaningful and trusted presence in their lives. Responsibilities include meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, and assisting with travel arrangements or supporting the mother’s new business. A Housekeeper comes a few times a wee.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Comfortable with pre-teens, teens and a curious 6-year-old.
• Can-do attitude with the ability to multitask.
  
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent communication, reliable, nurturing, and proactive.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and provide overnight care when needed.
• Energetic, creative and warm.

• Full use of a vehicle both on and off duty.
• Competitive salary based on experience (circa $35-40 per hour - happy for salary to be annualised).
