**Job Title: Buyer Planner** **Job Description** Responsible for purchasing inventory and supply management of all base materials and over laminations for production. This role ensures competitive pricing, maximizes inventory turns, minimizes obsolescence, and sources qualified materials with acceptable delivery times. You will collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure materials meet all client and customer requirements, ultimately providing total customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities** + Purchase inventory and manage supply of base materials and over laminations for production. + Ensure competitive pricing and maximize inventory turns while minimizing obsolescence. + Source and evaluate qualified materials with acceptable delivery schedules. + Collaborate with sales and production to ensure materials meet all requirements. + Build and purchase purchase orders (POs). + Use ERP system data to analyze order patterns and quantities. + Identify and report on slow-moving items and maintain recommended inventory levels. + Coordinate with production, product management, and sales teams. + Assist with the approval of invoices for payment. **Essential Skills** + Experience in purchasing and procurement. + Strong planning and scheduling skills. + Familiarity with purchase order processes. + Experience with SAP, ERP, and MRP systems. + Proficiency in inventory and production planning. + Logistics and supply chain management skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in inventory management and production scheduling. + Ability to analyze data and recognize order patterns. + Strong coordination and communication skills. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a great work environment with room for growth and excellent benefits. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
