Job Summary: The Breakfast Attendant assists with operation of restaurant breakfast area. They will Interact professionally, effectively, and in a friendly manner with all guests. Responsibilities * Provides highest quality service to the guest at all times. * Responds appropriately to any requests or concerns. * Follows all safe food handling procedures. * Knowledgeable of all continental breakfast core items. * Maintains breakfast area in a clean, functional manner. * Informs management of all guest-related problems and any shortages of core items. * Knowledgeable of safety and security measures of the hotel. * Must be able to work early morning shifts. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass certification from health department if required.
• Experience: Prior food handling experience preferred.

* Specific job knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Communicate effectively with other employees and guests.
• Follow instructions as directed.
• Ability to read, write and understand basic English.
• Ability to learn and apply safe food handling practices.

* Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to lift, bend, crouch/stoop, climb, stand, reach, twist, and push and pull equipment.
• Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
