MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF BOOKEEPING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support a construction services company in Menifee, CA. This position manages accounting functions for two related businesses, including full-cycle bookkeeping, reporting, and process creation for a new startup division.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, flexible start between 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM and end between 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM.
Requirements for Bookkeeper:
• Minimum 5 years of recent bookkeeping experience.
• Must have hands-on experience managing full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks .
• Ability to set up and document bookkeeping processes and procedures for a startup company.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and month-end reports.
• Must pass E-Verify.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business owners and multiple departments.

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
• Manage all QuickBooks financials for two businesses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, inventory tracking, and asset management.
• Prepare and distribute customer invoices; monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Produce monthly financial summaries and communicate key insights to business owners.
• Maintain transparent and accurate financial records with strong reporting practices.
• Collaborate with leadership teams on financial planning and decision-making.
• Develop and implement accounting processes for a new startup company from the ground up.
