Royal Oak - Casual/PRN position, approximately 8 hours per week. This is a hybrid role and will require onsite attendance for training and team events.

Scope of Job

Under minimal guidance of the Director of Biostatistics, the Biostatistician Intern will work with investigators to design the study, plan data collection, clean large and complex data, and analyze the data using a variety of advanced and cutting-edge statistical techniques to provide information for scientific or clinical research. This work may include preparation of the statistical aspects of manuscripts, posters and abstracts.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree
• Required • Completed at least two semesters of graduate study in a Master's or PHD program in Statistics, Biostatistics or a related field with strong analytical skills required.

• Prior work experience in public heath, epidemiology, and/or biomedical research is desirable, for example, experience in statistical applications or statistical consulting as part of graduate studies. Required
