**Responsibilities** In keeping with the Dignity Health core values,the Activities Assistant will be developing opportunities for the Resident to fulfill his needs and abilities. **Qualifications** + Requires high school education, current CPR certification, 36 hour activity course or community group involvement and a love of the elderly, accepting, experience of teaching and supervising. + Understanding of illness and those disabling conditions requiring long-term care. + Continuously able to concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption and continuously able to attend to task/function for more than 60 minutes at a time. + Frequently able to understand and relate to the theories behind several related concepts. + Continuously able to remember multiple tasks, assignments given to self and others over long periods of time. + Continuous use of common office equipment and computer terminals.
