Part-Time 20/20 Kitchen and Bath Designer (Local to Phoenix Only)

Summary of Position

ProCraft Cabinetry Phoenix is a wholesale cabinetry company specializing in full overlay framed cabinetry and semi-custom luxury frameless European-style cabinetry. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality products and excellent service to contractors, builders, and homeowners. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time 20/20 Designer to support our design process and serve as a liaison between our clients and our remote design team. The Part-Time 20/20 Designer will assist clients and internal staff in the design and visualization of kitchen, bath, and various project layouts. This individual will collaborate with our remote design partner, Kitchen 365, to review plans, resolve issues, ensure design accuracy, and help provide a seamless, client-friendly experience. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, excellent communication skills, and experience with 20/20 Design software.  This position is local to AZ, Phoenix only, not a fully remote position!

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Serve as an intermediary between the client, internal staff, and remote design team (Kitchen 365).
• Review and interpret client requests, architectural plans, and measurements to ensure design accuracy.
• Provide quality checks of 20/20 drawings for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to cabinet specifications.
• Assist clients with product selection, cabinet options, and layout guidance when needed.
• Communicate design revisions, clarifications, and updates between all stakeholders.
• Maintain organized records of design files, change logs, and approvals.
• Participate in occasional client meetings (in-person or virtual) to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with cabinet specifications, lead times, and product offerings.
• Provide showroom or presentation support as needed.
• Experience working with remote design support teams.
• Prior experience in a wholesale cabinetry or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with European frameless cabinetry specifications and construction.

Expected and essential knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• 2+ years of experience in kitchen/bath design using 2020 Design Software.
• Knowledge of cabinetry construction: framed, frameless, full overlay, semi-custom.
• Familiarity with European frameless cabinetry specifications and construction.
• Strong understanding of space planning, cabinet installation, and NKBA standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in reading architectural drawings and job site measurements.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Customer service mindset and ability to represent the company professionally.
• Experience working with remote design support teams.
• Prior experience in a wholesale cabinetry or manufacturing environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Part-Time (15–25 hours/week ), flexible hours available.
• Location: On-site in Phoenix, AZ 85034 with some remote work.
• Compensation: Hourly, market rate $23/hour , based on experience.

New employees will receive a 90-day evaluation on these noted expectations after hire, with their Direct Manager, to ensure all job-related expectations are being met to continue employment with ProCraft Cabinetry Phoenix.
